The AWDG is for anyone who makes Websites.
Markup, style, code, typography, SEO, e-commerce, Web apps, and social networking are all valid topics here. We aim to provide a place for Web professionals to meet new people, exchange ideas, learn new things, and have a little fun. We generally have two events each month: one for learning, one for socializing.
The group features some of the best talent in the Web industry from all over the country (previous speakers include Molly Holzschlag, Dan Rubin, and Jeff Croft). You are sure to leave each event with something that you can apply in your daily work.
It is a great place to learn from your peers and colleagues, build new relationships, and grow within the local web community. Check out the schedule for more info and be sure to join us at the next Meetup. We look forward to meeting you.
“ Good, knowledgable folks sharing useful information in a friendly and inclusive setting. ”

"Hi everyone, Am working on a site that will likely use Flash on the home page to transition a background image & accompanying text for about a dozen different story lead-ins. ... MoreThe design is already set so there wouldn't be design work involved other than some input into how to develop the page for the best user experience. This may be a straightforward situation where SlideShowPro could be utilized, but I'm swamped, my Flash skills are rusty, and I and the end client would be best served by having someone else handle this. If you have good examples of similar pieces I can show the team and you are available to get this done within the next week or two, please message me ASAP with your e-mail address and phone number, and I'll send you the mock-up so you'll have a good idea of what we need done. The end client is a big communications company here in Atlanta and IMO this will be a nice portfolio piece. Thanks, Teresa "
